Use NinjaHire’s natural language search to quickly find and refine candidate matches, automatically apply smart filters, and seamlessly shortlist and add candidates to outreach campaigns.


Step 1: Open the Candidate Search Page

Go to the Search Candidate tab to begin sourcing candidates.

Step 2: Enter a Natural Language Search

On the search screen, type exactly what you are looking for in plain language (for example: “Developer with years of experience in tech who has worked in tech startups”). NinjaHire’s natural language engine understands context such as industry, seniority, tech stack, and location, and automatically applies the appropriate filters for you.

Step 3: Review Initial Candidate Matches

Click Next to run the search and view your matches. Within seconds, you’ll see candidates that fit your criteria. You can now review these results on the screen.

Step 4: Refine Filters and Add New Criteria

Use the filters panel to further refine your search. The system has already applied relevant filters automatically, but you can modify them or add new criteria such as experience or location.

You can add additional criteria related to experience, location, and other relevant details.

Mark any criterion as required by turning the toggle on.

When the toggle is on, that filter becomes mandatory for matches.

If you turn the toggle off, the filter will be treated as optional.

You can continue adding relevant details as filters to narrow down your candidate list.

Add any further relevant details you need to fine-tune the results.

Step 5: Run the Refined Search

After adjusting your filters and criteria, click Search Candidates again to refine the sourcing results based on your updated filters.

Step 6: Review Candidate Profiles in Detail

From the refined results list, click on any candidate to open a detailed view of their profile and assess their fit directly from this screen.

Step 7: Shortlist Selected Candidates

Once you identify suitable candidates, select them from the list and click Shortlist to add them to your shortlisted pool.

Select the candidates you want to shortlist.

Then click Shortlist to confirm and move them into the shortlisted set.

You can also shortlist candidates directly from this screen; they will then appear in the Shortlisted tab.

Step 8: Add Shortlisted Candidates to Outreach Campaigns

From the Shortlisted tab, you can add candidates to outreach campaigns for screening and further engagement.

Use the available options to include shortlisted candidates in outreach or screening sequences.

Finalize by adding them to the desired outreach campaign.
